The complex has 3 swimming pools - 2 adult and 1 child, and sun loungers are provided. The main beaches of Calpe are within 5 minutes walk, the closest being about 150 m from Rubino. All are ideal for children.

Calpe has 2 major Blue Flag beaches and have children's play areas and wheel chair access as well as cold water showers. The rock - El Penon de Ifach - is a major feature of the Costa Blanca and indeed Spain and it has been used as a point of navigation for centuries. It is a National Park and can be climbed the easy way - along a track - or the hard way up the rock face! From the top the views of Calpe and the Costa Blanca coast are fabulous.

Calpe Harbour

Calpe is one of the most attractive towns on the Costa Blanca, with its busy fishing port where the day's catch is auctioned each afternoon. A modern yacht marina and sailing club also nestle under the Penon. Close by are numerous sea food restaurants offering excellent value and quality.

Calpe Town

Calpe has retained its Spanish feel and is popular with Spanish families, although catering for different nationalities. Eating out can be quite an interesting international experience at reasonable prices. If you prefer to prepare your own meals, well stocked supermarkets are available close by. Each Saturday, a lively street market offers much local produce as well as goods from the rest of Spain.
