Location
The apartment block is a prestigious development occupying one of the premier positions in Calpe, being right on the sea front promenade - El Paseo Maritimo - no roads to cross to access the beaches. The promenade which runs along the 2 primary beaches of Calpe, is right outside the complex. Calpe town centre is about a 20 minute walk along the promenade whilst the port and sailing club is less than 10 minutes in the other direction.
Calpe's wide sandy beaches are ideal for children making it a perfect location for families but also very appealing to older groups who appreciate the clean environment. Keen walkers will find many interesting walks of differing severity close by and a popular walk is to climb El Penon. Close to the apartment is a Roman site including an ancient fish farm. Most people return to Calpe each year for the variety of activities on offer, its relaxed friendly atmosphere and numerous places to eat. Car hire is useful if you wish to journey further afield but public transport is reasonable and extensive.
Access
Calpe is about 80 kms north of Alicante and about 120 kms south of Valencia. Numerous airlines and charter companies such as BMI, British Airways, easyJet, Iberia, RyanAir, Monarch serve airports at these cities.
The nearest motorway junctions are about 8 kms from the town. However, from both airports there are frequent coach service connections if you do not wish to hire a car. Calpe is also on a rail branch line which connects with other Costa Blanca towns such as Alicante, Altea and Benidorm to the south and Javea and Denia to the north.
